Research lines per researcher:Dr. Raúl Rosales Ibáñez.
1.-Tissue Engineering in Regenerative Medicine and Dentistry.
2.-Preclinical Studies and Biocompatibility.
3.-Nanomaterials for Medical Applications.

M.C. Arely González González.
1.-Signaling Pathways in Mesenchymal Stem Cell Differentiation.
2.-Cytotoxic and Genotoxic Assays of Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering in Medicine and Dentistry.

Primary culture of differentiated cells and mesenchymal stem cells from different adult tissue sources, culture maintenance, molecular study of signaling through PCR and Western Blot analysis of their differentiation into different lineages, and confirmation of phenotype using techniques such as flow cytometry, histological staining, fluorescence microscopy, and electron microscopy. Seeding and maintenance of cultures to evaluate the cytotoxicity and genotoxicity of biomaterials for in vitro and in vivo applications using absorbance techniques to study viability, cell adhesion, and proliferation. Additionally, the Laboratory offers quality control services through immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence assays to determine their usefulness in medicine and dentistry. Furthermore, our research group has expertise in conducting preclinical studies with rats, rabbits, and pigs to evaluate the biocompatibility of biomaterials and drugs.
