Research lines per researcher:Genomics and proteomics of tumors, cysts and relevant oral pathologies, Search for therapeutic targets for odontogenic tumors and cysts, Search for biomarkers in odontogenic tumors and autoimmune diseases, Analysis of possible therapeutic targets in odontogenic tumors and Analysis of saliva from patients with odontogenic tumors and pathologies mouthparts. Analysis of results clinical approach clinical diagnosis and research.

The lines of research are aimed at determining tumor biomarkers, searching for therapeutic targets and associating biological behavior with the molecular profile expressed by each of the lesions analyzed, such as tumors, cysts and oral pathologies. On the other hand, this laboratory has collaborations that allow obtaining fresh samples in order to have biological material and carry out next generation Genomics work, proteomics, flow cartometry, cell cultures, nanoparticles, histology and histopathological analysis.

All of the above in order to detect early pathologies that involve invasive treatments as well as identify genes that can negatively regulate the growth of tumor cells or even induce their apoptosis or death and finally massively detect the expression of genes and proteins that can govern the Biological behavior of tumors, cysts and oral pathologies.

Entry profile of potential thesis students:Reading comprehension of the English language, with an average equal to or greater than 8 and eager to learn.
Service Social Data:The activities are diverse, it can be to collect samples in hospitals or clinics, carry out experiments, analyze results, write and review articles, assistant in patient review and registry of epidemiological data from the Aragón clinic and finally, detection of potentially invasive pathologies or difficult to diagnose.
