Information.

my current area of interest has been focused in the characterization of some factors associated to the immune response and the protein interactions of Naegleria fowleri with the host cells in experimental model of mice. We are searching specific antigenic determinants (by molecular, proteomic or bioinformatics tools) responsible for the pathogenicity and immunogenicity of N. fowleri with the aim of proposing therapeutic targets for the design of vaccines against the meningoencephalitis due to N. fowleri.
