Research lines per researcher:Search for therapeutic targets in odontogenic tumors and cysts.
Identification of biomarkers in odontogenic tumors and autoimmune diseases.
Analysis of potential therapeutic targets in odontogenic tumors.
Saliva analysis in patients with odontogenic tumors and oral pathologies.
Results analysis, clinical approach, clinical diagnosis and research.

The research lines are focused on determining tumor biomarkers, identifying therapeutic targets, and associating the biological behavior with the molecular profile expressed by each of the analyzed lesions such as tumors, cysts, and oral pathologies. Additionally, this laboratory collaborates with other institutions to obtain fresh samples for genomic Next-Generation Sequencing, proteomics, flow cytometry, cell cultures, nanoparticles, histology, and histopathological analysis.All of the above aims to early detect pathologies that require invasive treatments, as well as identify genes that may negatively regulate the growth of tumor cells or induce apoptosis or cell death. Lastly, it involves mass detection of gene and protein expression that may govern the biological behavior of tumors, cysts, and oral pathologies.
