Information:

She is a biologist graduated from the Faculty of Sciences at UNAM, holding a Master’s and a Doctorate from the Biochemical Sciences Program at UNAM.

Her research interests revolve around investigating the role of protein phosphorylation and dephosphorylation in the regulation of cell transformation, as well as essential molecular signaling processes in cancer biology.

Specifically, her laboratory focuses on cellular signaling in cancer with the aim of determining the therapeutic potential of the kinome and/or phosphatome. They employ technologies that can predict the pharmacological response to different types of cancer, such as breast cancer, colon cancer, and glioblastoma.

Furthermore, her team evaluates the impact of monotherapies or combination therapies in breast cancer, colon cancer, and glioblastoma.
