Information:

Licensed and Ph.D. in Psychology from the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Iztacala, UNAM. In her professional experience, she worked in marketing research from a psychological perspective, using biofeedback, computer, and technological tools. Since 2012, she has contributed to the development of software aimed at data collection and psychoeducational materials for Deaf individuals who use Mexican Sign Language (LSM). This work is user-centered and interdisciplinary in approach. Her research covers health promotion and disease prevention, sexual health for Deaf individuals, and the use of information technologies in assessment and intervention processes. She has taught courses on topics such as sexual and reproductive health, measurement processes, assessment, and data processing. Her recent contributions include the development of a web-based application to promote condom use among Deaf individuals, as well as the creation of non-verbal psychoeducational materials for preventing sexual abuse and harassment in virtual spaces.
