Psychobiology of Food
Central regulation processes of eating behavior and the hedonic properties of palatable food are studied, with emphasis on the endocannabinoid and dopaminergic neurotransmission systems of the reward circuit in animal models (diet-induced obesity and binge-type behavior in rats). The research approach is pharmacological, neurochemical, molecular and behavioral.

Obesity and Eating Disorders
A psychosociocultural and clinical approach to obesity and eating pathologies (Nervous Anorexia, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, PICA, Rumination and TERA) is carried out, to: Develop reliable and valid assessment and diagnosis tools, as well as identify biological factors. psycho-socio-cultural risk; and Design, promote and implement intervention strategies, both preventive and therapeutic.

Effort Physiology
It characterizes and quantifies, energetically and ergonomically, the physical performance in sick, sedentary, sportsmen and athletes.

It studies the physiological and pathophysiological adaptations that occur with physical effort or in extreme environments.

Morpho-functional characterization of the type of sport, to induce, modify and improve physical performance, and Biomechanical rehabilitation.
