Research lines per researcher:This is a research subproject applied to teaching; the participants are professors from the Master’s and Doctorate programs in Psychology. The Behavioral Medicine Residency is characterized by the training of psychologists who integrate professional skills and theoretical-methodological knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, design, and implementation of individualized and/or protocolized interventions, as well as the design and validation of psychological tools in the field of health. One of the cornerstones of the residency is the training of human resources in real hospital contexts under constant academic supervision and in situ. The clinical activities take place at two locations: Juárez Hospital of Mexico, in the departments of oncology, internal medicine, hematology, geriatrics, pain clinic, and surgery, and Atizapán General Hospital, in the departments of internal medicine, surgery, and gynecology.
