Biologist from the Faculty of Sciences at UNAM, Ph.D. in Ecology from the Institute of Ecology at UNAM, and Postdoctoral research at the University of Toronto. My research interests encompass adaptive evolution through natural and sexual selection, with a focus on the evolution of sexual dimorphism, mating systems, and life history evolution. My primary study models are insects, especially orthopterans, although I also investigate other animal groups.
