Research lines per researcher:Biochemical, Behavioral, and Morphological Aspects of Three Experimental Models of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease.

The Neuromorphology Laboratory primarily focuses on cellular and molecular biology aspects. We have a transmission/scanning electron microscope, fluorescence microscopes, and light microscopes. We conduct behavioral tests and determine lipid peroxidation. Recently, we established a novel experimental model for the study of Parkinson’s disease, where the alterations are progressive and bilateral. Additionally, we are currently establishing an Alzheimer’s model.
