The line of research on Knowledge Management has the general objective of contributing to the development of a theoretical, methodological and operational framework for the design of strategies that articulate the conservation of ecosystems, their species and genetic resources, with exploitation schemes that offer alternatives for the sustainable and equitable development of rural communities associated with biocultural diversity.
Under this context, in November 2019 the Knowledge Management Laboratory (LAGECO) was formed with the purpose of generating scientific knowledge under a comprehensive approach and applied to the sustainable development of socio-ecological systems. In addition to the training of high-level human resources and the contribution to the development of an interdisciplinary culture of dialogue, reasoning and collaboration between the different academic and social agendas.
